1 – 3 SEPTEMBER 2026 – SIKHOTHINA PRIMARY SCHOOL SUPPORTED BY CONTINENTAL TYRES |
We started the month off strong at Sikhothina Primary School!
Our team spent three productive days with a new group of Grade 6 learners and teachers, introducing them to the My Maths Buddy program and getting another exciting journey underway. 44 learners and 5 new Maths teachers enrolled onto the program.
7 SEPTEMBER – THULISA PRIMARY SCHOOL SUPPORTED BY LOMBARD INSURANCE
This time we weren’t there to introduce ourselves. We returned for the school’s second intervention, ready to build on the work already started.
47 learners. 9 teachers. One programme moving onward and upward!
10 – 11 SEPTEMBER – CRESSLAWN PRIMARY SCHOOL SUPPORTED BY KNORR BREMSE
From 47 learners at Thulisa to an incredible 110 at Cresslawn!
September continued to gain momentum as our team returned to Cresslawn Primary School for another second intervention.Over two days, we reconnected with 110 learners, building on their first experience with My Maths Buddy and taking the next step in their programme journey.
110 learners. Two days. Another intervention completed.
14 SEPTEMBER – ITIRELENG PRIMARY SCHOOL SUPPORTED BY AON
Our journey continued to Itireleng Primary School, where we reached 59 learners and 2 teachers, adding another school community to an already busy month for the My Maths Buddy team.
The September impact continued to grow and with the month only halfway through, there was still plenty more to go…
17 SEPTEMBER – SEOTLOANA PRIMARY SCHOOL
Three days later, we were on the move again!
By this point in the month, our team had already moved through several schools and worked with learners at different stages of their My Maths Buddy journey. Seotloana primary school marked another opportunity to keep this momentum going!
18 SEPTEMBER – ZANDSPRUIT PRIMARY SCHOOL
Just one day later, the team continued to Zandspruit Primary School, adding yet another stop to our September journey. 37 new learners and 5 new teachers reached!
From welcoming new groups of learners and teachers to returning for second interventions, every stop in September moved the My Maths Buddy program closer to our greater goal: helping learners understand Maths, build confidence and ultimately experience it as a subject they can enjoy.
September wasn’t simply a busy month it was a month of building, returning, strengthening and growing. With every school we visited, My Maths Buddy’s impact continued to grow, reaching more learners and teachers and inspiring greater confidence in Maths.
We are truly grateful for all our partners. As we keep strengthening Maths understanding and confidence, we are encouraged by the positive progress already visible in classrooms. Even more exciting is the journey ahead and we look forward to sharing the continued growth and results as this partnership deepens and expands.

| The My Maths Buddy program is minimally a 12-month long program and is designed for Maths teachers and learners. To sponsor 1 teacher for a full year on the program is R12,000.00 (including all materials, training, support, assessments, evaluation and monitoring and reporting). To sponsor 1 learner for a full year on the program R7,500.00 (including all materials, training, support, assessments, evaluation and monitoring and reporting). Sponsor one or more learners or teachers and join us in the crusade to bring greater Maths understanding and success for 160 learners and 41 Maths teachers as part of celebrating 2026 Heritage Month Drive |
| The My Maths Buddy Team successfully hosted an event at Zandspruit Primary School on the 31 July to celebrate the successful completion of our Nelson Mandela Month Drive. The event brought together learners, educators, school leadership and our valued company partners to celebrate the collective effort that made this initiative possible. We now look forward to achieving the same impact at our two remaining nominated schools. With your support, we can make it happen and continue changing lives through Maths education.
